"What do you want to eat?" This phrase can instill fear into many people. Our goal is to turn this into an endless opportunity for fun.


Often getting started is the hardest part. We hope to share our cooking knowledge and encourage all people to enjoy cooking as much as we do.

Tyler Poole

Growing up in Upstate New York I was surrounded by farms. I think this sparked my joy in food and its journey to the plate. My interest in food started young. At seven years old I refused to eat off of the kids menu, I wanted my parent's food! 
After graduating from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in Culinary Arts and Sustainable Food I began my journey into school food. I strive to bring delicious food to people of all ages. I have worked in restaurants from Husk in Nashville, TN to Detente in Edgartown, MA. 
I look forward to sharing my passion for food with my Martha's Vineyard community.

Brandee Kitzmiller

Educator. Admin. Founder.

I believe food brings people and communities together.
Growing up I was always underfoot in the kitchen. I was determined to taste test everything my parents were making.... especially when it came to baking.
I graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Nutrition and Public Health and a certificate from Arizona State University in Food Policy and Sustainable Leadership. Currently I am working towards my Masters in Sustainable Food Systems. I've worked as a garden/agriculture educator for the past three years teaching in classrooms and garden spaces. I have taught many students how to hold a knife and no fingers have been lost! I cannot wait to share my passion for cooking delicious sustainable food with my local community.
